UpgradingĀ the Driveclub: PS Plus Edition to the full version of the game, with all of the locations, tracks, cars, and tour events, will cost $49.99, Evolution Studios revealed today.
Evolution Studio's Jamie Brayshaw posted today a lengthy announcement outlining the exact details of what's included in the free PlayStation Plus version of Driveclub. PS Plus members will get one location (India), 11 tracks, 10 cars, and access to all game modes. Comparatively, the full version of the game will come with five locations, 55 tracks, 50 cars, and all 50 tour events.
Currently, there are two ways to get this full version: you can either buy Driveclub for full price from a retailer or through the PS Store (this also applies to non-PS Plus members), or you can upgrade the PS Plus Edition for $49.99. If you choose to purchase this one-time upgrade, you will have access to all of the content as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription remains active. Brayshaw didn't say what would happen if you canceled your subscription, but I assume you'll just have to pay the $10 difference.
Brayshaw mentions this was the first of three Driveclub updates coming this week. So make sure you keep it tuned to GameZone for all of the upcoming announcements.
