Driveclub PS Plus Edition upgrade reportedly available in UK

Playable offline only

PlayStation Plus members in the UK looking to upgrade their Driveclub PS Plus Edition to the full version may now be able to do so if a tweet from Paul Rustchynsky is any indication.

Being in the U.S., I don't have access to the UK PlayStation Store, but according to thegamescabin — which quoted Rustchynsky — the Driveclub PS Plust Edition upgrade is now available in the UK. However, you may still experience problems when connecting online — an issue that has plagued Driveclub since launch.

Since Driveclub's launch on Tuesday, players have been experiencing all sorts of problems connecting to the game's servers. According to the developer, Driveclub's servers are up but "hitting their performance limits." In order to alleviate the stress, they disabled the PS Plus Edition from the store. Players are still able to log in and connect, but they must wait in a queue and hope to be selected at random when someone logs off.

In an update yesterday, Evolution Studios said they were running diagnostics to help improve the game's server performance. We haven't received an update since.
