Driveclub’s Ignition Expansion Pack previewed in new trailer

Developer Evolution Studios has released a new trailer previewing the contents of Driveclub's "Ignition Expansion Pack."

Releasing next week (November 25), the Ignition Expansion will actually be free for anyone who has already purchased the full version of Driveclub. It's Sony's way of apologizing for the online server issues that have plagued the game since launch.

In addition to giving away the Ignition Expansion Pack, Sony is also releasing the Photo-Finish Tour Pack along with two livery packs for free. When it's all said and one, that's a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies, and 10 new livery items — all for free. And it starts next week.

As for the status of Driveclub, here's the latest update from Evolution Studios:

Work continues on the server improvements as our priority, and everyone on the team who is able to work on this (or help) is focused exclusively on fixing the server issues.

The other members of the team are working on game updates to make DRIVECLUb better for you and new packs to add more cars, tours and trophies to the game. We're also working on new features like dynamic weather and replays as well as many other improvements to the game based on your feedback. We'll give you an update on all of this soon.

Sadly, the free PS Plus Edition is still postponed until further notice.
