Almost a year later, PlayStation 4 owners are still patiently awaiting the release of Driveclub PS Plus Edition. The game has been said to be "the final stages of development," by Evolution Studios' game director, thanks to the latest game patch that brought improvements to the game's server.
It appears as though Driveclub PS Plus Edition is nearing release, which makes a price cut for the actual game a great deal! According to Driveclub's Game Director, the game has had its price permanently reduced on the US PlayStation Store.
If you are not a PlayStation Plus member the game will cost you $39.99, if you are a PlayStation Plus member the game is priced at $24.99.
With a price reduction like this, it's hard to believe that the PS Plus edition is far off. We haven't seen an official date yet, but this is promising news. If you decide to purchase the game, be advised the updates amount to 10.613GBs worth of patches on top of the games 14.7GB download.
