Dust: An Elysian Tail coming to PS4

Dust: An Elysian Tail creator Dean Dodrill today announced that his 2D action game will soon release on PlayStation 4.

The news comes from a PlayStation Blog post by Fidget, the game’s iconic and anatomically questionable companion, who was kind enough to detail the game’s newest release.

“Imagine a 2D side-scrolling platformer, with crazy-fast swordplay and screen-clearing MAGIC supplied by yours truly,” she said. “There are power-ups! Special abilities! Hidden passages! A whole world of STUFF to find! Main Quests! Side quests! We’ve even got a quest where you can choose to put poison ivy into some jerk’s laundry! I KNOW! It’s magical! Let’s poison his laundry TOGETHER!”

A hard date for when you’ll be able to poison laundry on PS4 has yet to be given, but Dodrill promises the game is “coming soon.” This marks the game’s third “debut,” as Dust: An Elysian Tail first released on Xbox 360 and was later ported to PC for a Steam release.
