Terry Crews is currently in the midst of (likely) pretending that there is a chance that he won't be voicing Doomfist. But it's all good. There's nothing wrong with a little showmanship and promotion for what is likely his upcoming role to get fans excited, and it makes them feel like they were involved even if they weren't. Apparently his good buddy Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is getting in on the hype train as he recently posted a tweet giving his support.
He said:
Co-sign. Known TC for years and this man's voice even has bad assery muscles. Fans would luv it. #Doomfist
Crews recently "asked" fans if he should voice the upcoming Overwatch character and makes a ton of sense for the role given that he is one of very few legitimate gamer celebrities. Whenever you see him on the red carpet for a gaming event, he is often the only one that doesn't come off as a phony, so it'd be nice to see him get even more involved in gaming.
Blizzard still has not confirmed Crews' role as Doomfist, but I expect it will come shortly.
