Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s Jumanji looks like it will have a different tone

This probably should have been expected, but The Rock's Jumanji "continuation" looks like it's going to be a pretty different film, despite the fact that it is not a reboot like many initially thought. Between Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black there's a lot more lightheartedness at play than Robin Williams had on his own back in 1995.

Kevin Hart recently sent out an image from his Instagram account, showcasing exactly what we might expect when the movie releases next year. Here's the photo:

This new Jumanji film will honor Robin Williams "in an earnest and cool way", according to Johnson, so we are very excited to see what they have up their sleeve. After originally being due to release around Christmas 2016, the film's release date was officially pushed back to July 28th, 2017.
