The history and origins of Techland’s Dying Light have been fleshed out thanks to Dying Light: Nightmare Row, a new novel by Raymond Benson.
The 234-page novel tells the tale of protagonist Mel Wyatt, an 18-year-old American athlete who finds herself stranded in Harran, Dying Light’s main city, by the zombie quarantine.
“As one of many Americans stranded in Harran, Mel has been surviving with her little brother, Paul, in an isolated hotel—their parents were killed on the first day of the infected attacks on the stadium,” the novel’s Amazon listing reads. “Thus begins a tense and ticking time bomb thriller of survival.”
Nightmare Row’s author has penned several video game works in the past. Benson is known for his work on the original Black Stiletto series, but he has also written Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid, Hitman and Homefront novels.
You can pick up Dying Light: Nightmare Row on Amazon for $19.99, or $9.99 on Kindle.
