Dying Light Steam pre-order bonuses revealed

Dying Light's Steam page has gone live, revealing that those who pre-order the the upcoming parkour infused zombie survival game from the digital distribution service will unlock an exclusive multiplayer mode and weapon.

Buying into Dying Light ahead of its January release will unlock the "Be the Zombie" multiplayer mode, which sees you take control of the Night Hunter and hunt down human survivors.

"As the ultimate zombie predator, you can invade other players’ games and add even more terror to their quest for survival," the description reads. "Kill your prey and develop superhuman skills to become the worst nightmare Harran has ever seen. Experience intense asymmetric multiplayer as the horrifying force behind invasions."

Pre-ordering will also unlock the Punk Queen exclusive weapon, a "powerful" crowbar with "every possible upgrade on board," including batteries and wires for electrical damage, lighters for burning damage, acid containers, razors, and more. Developer Techland calls it "the ultimate tool of destruction that alternates between special effects with each blow!"

At this point, it's unclear if these pre-order bonuses will apply to other platforms.
