Dying Light tech demo shows off next-gen lighting on PS4 and Xbox One

In my earlier hands-on previews with Dying Light, I've already established Techland's upcoming open world survival game is one of the next-gen games to look forward to. And now a new tech demo has been released showing you why.

The new video offers a deeper look into the next-gen technology of Dying Light, showing off the new physically based lighting system using the in-house Chrome Engine 6. This technology allows for more realistic lighting and shadows in the game world, resulting in a more authentic and immersive environment.

In addition to the technical aspects, the new video also offers a first look at a new location in the game, Old Town. Dying Light is set to release in 2014 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
