Dynasty Warriors 9 will have 4K/30 FPS and 1080p/60 FPS performance options on PS4 Pro

After revealing Dynasty Warriors 9 back in December by Koei Tecmo, Game Director Atsushi Miyauchi has announced that the game will have performance options for PS4 Pro owners, something that is increasingly becoming a standard. Dynasty Warriors 9 will be playable at both 4K/30 FPS or 1080p/60 FPS, much like Nioh managed to accomplish earlier this year.

Speaking with Taiwanese website, Bahamuth’s Crazy Arcade, Miyauchi confirmed the news. He also mentioned that Dynasty Warriors 9 would look a lot better than its predecessor, which was criticized for being weak visually. This is because the game has been built from the ground-up on the PlayStation 4, so it's a much more seamless development process allowing for higher visual fidelity.

Dynasty Warriors 9 will release sometime later this year for PS4 over in Japan, and while it has been confirmed to be coming West, there's currently no indication of when that will happen.
