E3 2013: Minecraft: Xbox One Edition announced

Microsoft said it wouldn't abandon indie developers and to show their continued support for them, Microsoft vice president Phil Harrison announced that Minecraft will be headed to the Xbox One.

Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition was a big hit on the Xbox 360 but a big Minecraft fan could complain that the maps were a bit too small. Although there wasn't much detail on Minecraft: Xbox One Edition, they did say that there would be bigger maps and more multiplayer options.

The release date hasn't been released yet.
