Last month, Ubisoft's co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot referred to this E3 2013 as a "pivotal moment" for the gaming industry. With game sales lagging the past few months, all eyes are on Microsoft and Sony as they give the world another look at their next-gen consoles. But it's not just the consoles that will help the industry turn around; just as much pressure is placed upon publishers and developers to deliver high quality games.
2012 was a great year for Ubisoft which saw the release Assassin's Creed 3 and Far Cry 3 to name a few. But what do we have to look forward to later this year? Ubisoft is bringing a whole slew of what looks to be promising AAA titles to E3 2013. This is what they'll be showing off:
- Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag
- Splinter Cell Blacklist
- Rayman Legends
- Watch Dogs
- South Park: The Stick of Truth
- Unannounced game from Ubisoft Reflections
- 'A few unannounced titles'
Ubisoft has already given us a sneak peek at a few of these titles. Just the other day they released the E3 trailer for South Park: The Stick of Truth and it blew us away. It seems Cartman's farts are just the rotten egg taste of what Ubisoft has to offer this year. Be sure to tune in to GameZone for exclusive E3 coverage on all the latest Ubisoft games.
