After a coy introduction at Microsoft’s pre-show, 343 Industries led a fireball of a presentation packed with all the announcements a Halo fan could hope for.
Halo: Master Chief Collection will include the first four games for the franchise as well as all of their multiplayer maps, including DLC installments. All four games will run at 1080p in 60FPS, with multiplayers operating on dedicated servers.
Next on the list: Halo 2 Anniversary, a small surprise for us in light of the leak we were given by the voice of Master Chief. The game has been completely remastered for its 10-year anniversary and shows a stunning difference in visual quality, but will offer the option to switch between original and redux graphics. Like the other titles, Halo 2 Anniversary will feature the exact multiplayer that made the original release so popular.
The newly announced Halo 5: Guardians received a bit of love as well, on top of its new trailer. The game will enter its beta period this December, which will be offered with pre-orders of the Master Chief Collection.
