E3 2014: Magicka 2: Learn To Spell Again! announced for PS4 and PC

Paradox Interactive yesterday announced Magicka 2: Learn To Spell Again! during Sony’s E3 conference. The game is coming to PS4 and PC and will bring the same spell-slinging, wizard-maiming fun as the original.

“Millions of people enjoyed the first Magicka, even after their friends exploded their heads with an ‘accidental’ fire beam,” said Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive. “The next chapter of the Magicka saga is going to introduce new twists on the gameplay and customization options, all presented with beautiful art and animation on the PC and PS4.”

Magicka 2 will feature 4-player co-op play, a new narrative set in the second chapter of the Wizard Wars, a wealth of new gear and an “Artifact” system that will bring “new twists [to] each level.”

No release date has been given at this time. We’ll update you with more information as it surfaces.
