E3 2014: The Sims 4 release date announced

Electronic Arts announced today during its E3 press briefing that The Sims 4 will be release on September 2, 2014.

The announcement came at the end of a fairly lengthy look at gameplay and how, for the first time, you can truly shape your Sims emotions, and how your emotions can affect your gameplay. We'll be sure to post the trailer shortly, but for now we at least have the confirmed release date.

So September 2, 2014.

We'll be checking out EA's titles tomorrow on the show floor of E3, so be sure to check back this week for our impressions of The Sims 4.
