E3 2014: This is what The Legend of Zelda on the Wii U will look like

So far, we haven't seen what the new Zelda game looked like. Sure we had the concept demo from when the Wii U was announced, but that was it. That all changed today.

Eiji Aonuma showed off the first footage for the upcoming Zelda title heading to the Wii U, and also talked a little about how different this game will be from past Zelda titles. Like the last 3DS game, A Link Between Worlds, it will allow players to tackle dungeons and challenges however they want, meaning this will be a fully open-world console Zelda game for the first time.

The game looks absolutely gorgeous, and it looks like it borrows its aesthetics from Skyward Sword.

The game doesn't have much info beyond that, and certainly no solid release date, however, fans can look forward to playing it in 2015.
