E3 2014: Ubisoft unveils tactical online shooter, Rainbow Six: Siege

While Ubisoft may not have had some jaw dropping new announcements today, it did walk away with a pretty awesome new game set in the Rainbow Six universe. Rainbow Six: Siege looks to be a multiplayer based, tactical online game, where players must work together against an enemy team to secure hostages.

Of course, this could have just been only a sampling of what the full game has to offer. From what we can see, the Rainbow Six team will have some cool gadgets at their disposal, such as being able to send out a miniature drone to scope out the map before the match starts, and even during to see positions of enemies in a closed off room.

The coolest aspect by far was the amount of destruction happening all at once. Walls could be shot through, and breached. Even floors could be exploded to gain tactical advantage on the enemy.

This might not be the Rainbow Six Patriots game we were hoping for, but it does look damn good.

You can check out the trailer for it above.
