E3 2014: [UPDATE] Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker coming to Wii U

[UPDATE:] A new look at Treasure Tracker from Nintendo's Treehouse has shown that the game will play out in the same 3D isometric puzzle worlds seen in Super Mario Galaxy. Camera orientation can be adjusted with the gamepad's motion controls as well as the right analogue stick, allowing you to change your angle on the puzzle.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, a presumably jump-free 3D platformer, is coming to Wii U, Nintendo today announced during their E3 digital event.

The game’s reveal trailer shows the titular, mushroom-headed character mining, plucking and riding—but never jumping—his way through a 3D world, presented (at least for this trailer) as veritable micro-worlds, levels cut from a theme and then built individually.

Captain  Toad: Treasure Tracker is now up for pre-order and has not yet been given a release date, but will most likely launch in 2015, of course, as a Wii U exclusive.
