E3 2016: Bethesda reveals awesome Dishonored 2 gameplay

My body wasn't even ready for this.

Bethesda took to E3 2016 with tons of announcements and surprises planned for the community. One of their announcements brought the focus onto Dishonored 2. Thanks to the event, we have a brand new trailer for the game, giving us a closer look at the gameplay – which is amazing.

You aren't even ready for that trailer.

Bethesda has created their own signature engine to run the game on, hoping to make the game look like a moving painting. This engine is called the 'Void Engine' and should offer players a more authentic feel for the environment.

The hype for Dishonored 2 has been growing since it was first revealed in June of last year. The game will allow players to choose to play as either Corvo and Emily Kaldwin, both from the original game (although Emily is quite a bit older now) and both characters will be fully voiced.

Emily will bring new abilities to the table in Dishonored 2 and these abilities are even shocking the developers. According to game director Harvey Smith, QA testers have used her abilities in ways and combominations that no one had expected

Dishonored 2 is set to release November 11th, with a series of books and comics to release prior to the game that offer futher backstory to the game.
