E3 2016: Dead Rising 4 officially announced

It has been rumored and leaked, but now the official announcement and the first trailer is here, the over the top zombie killing game is back, Dead Rising 4 is on its way.

There have been quite a few rumors the past few weeks, will it be a new Dead Rising game or just a remaster with four player co-op? Will it be exclusive or available on all platforms? Will it once again have Frank West as the main man? Now we finally have the answers some of the answers.

As shown at E3 today Dead Rising 4 is officially on its way and Frank West is back in action! The next installment in the Dead Rising series is once again set in a mall area but will also, like shown in the trailer above, be extending to some new outside areas, and it will be a Microsoft exclusive. They did not say anything about the other rumors that circulated before the reveal, but from the looks of it, Dead Rising 4 will be its own game and not a remaster of Dead Rising 1 as previously rumored.

Dead Rising 4 is set for release on Holiday 2016 for Xbox One and Windows 10.
