E3 2016: First Xbox Play Anywhere games revealed

Microsoft has officially announced the first selection of games that will be part of their new Xbox Play Anywhere deal.

During their press conference at the 2016 E3 trade fair, Microsoft did reveal a few games that would be made available for Play Anywhere, but additions have been made to that list since then.

Check them out:

  • Gears of War 4
  • Forza Horizon 3
  • ReCore
  • Sea of Thieves
  • Halo Wars 2
  • Scalebound
  • Killer Instinct Season 3
  • State of Decay 2
  • Ark: Survival Evolved
  • Cuphead
  • We Happy Few
  • Crackdown 3

For those that are not aware of Play Anywhere, it will allow gamers to purchase any of the games above on one platform, and receive a free copy for another platform. For example, you could purchase Gears of War 4 on Xbox One, but per this Play Anywhere programme, you could also download the PC version as well, free of charge.
