E3 2016: For Honor steals the show at Ubisoft conference

When Ubisoft first announced For Honor last year at E3 2015, it made huge headlines and eyes turned because it seemingly solved the third person, sword fighting dilemna that has plagued so many games.

It entails three different classes in The Chosen, Warborn and Legions. The innovative ART OF BATTLE system lets you feel the power of every strike, the strength of every impact, and the weight of the weapon in your hand. Each of the classes represents a separate fighting styel in Samurai, Vikings and Knights. For Honor features both a campaign and online multiplayer with mutliple teams fighting it out amongst various A.I. enemies as well.

Executing enemies in certain manners earn you feats that you can use to augment your abilities. Samurai, for example, can call in an arrow storm at a selected area to help take out groups of enemies. Each class has their own separate feats they can earn with their own respective advantages.

A new trailer shown today at the Ubisoft press conference reveals a lot more about For Honor as well as a new look at its single player campaign.

For Honor releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 14th, 2017
