We knew that Horizon: Zero Dawn was going to be one of Sony's pillars for its E3 2016 Press Conference, and they delivered. After getting its World Premier last year during Sony's magical E3 2015 Press Conference, Horizon: Zero Dawn has been quiet for most of the last year. Guerilla Games has changed all that and showcased brand new footage showing off a ton of gameplay.
We see Aloy ride a mechanical moose and take on a few corrupted machines. The game has shades of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with equipment changes on the fly to help the player adapt to different situations.
Horizon: Zero Dawn is releasing next year on February 18th, 2017 after being delayed from its original Holiday 2016 window. The game will feature a natural and cyclical character development system that will have players harvest metal from monsters to craft better equipment. The Collector's Edition of the game is quite impressive and quite costly, checking in at a total of $120.
