E3 2016: Nier: Automata gets new trailer and a delay

Nier: Automata came out of nowhere at last year's E3, and to make the pleasant surprise even more exciting, Platinum games would be developing it. The little gameplay we'd seen was fairly early looking, but had all the stylish action one would expect from a Platinum game. Even better: It was coming out in 2016.

Unfortunately, the game has been delayed to early 2017, but it's better late than shoddily made. The new trailer shows off a bit more polish in its awesome looking combat, hints at the games story, and features some interesting mechanical foes. Platinum seems to have captured the feel of the originals, why lifting the combat above the somewhat janky affair it was before.
