E3 2016: ReCore Survival Starts at the Core

In the distant future in Far Eden, ReCore is announced for the Xbox One and PC.

The E3 announcement was coupled with a trailer of the game, introducing the main character and her robots. She’s first seen with a grappling hook, pulling a “core” out of an enemy. Then as we’re introduced to her companions, they all have these cores in their bodies. This may be implying that these robots are controlled by them.

In the trailer we meet:

Joule the Fearless Leader: The human protagonist.

Mack the Explorer:  A core in the shape of a dog.

Seth the Escape Artist: A core shaped like a spider, seen climbing walls.

Duncan the Heavy Hitter: Gorilla looking core most likely the tank of the party

ReCore will be released for Xbox One and PC on September 13

Recore is really remeniscent of Enslaved: Oddysey to the West and Jak & Daxter. But don’t take my word for it, watch it here:
