E3 2016: Tekken 7 announced for Xbox One

Bandai Namco Games has announced that Tekken 7 will land on Xbox One in early 2017. The developers took the stage at the Microsoft E3 2016 Press Conference and unveiled a trailer that began as a CG movie before turning into gameplay as a battle between Heihachi and a demon named Akuma.

The developers didn't show off the whole fight, but it clear that the game's Story Mode will constantly transition from CG to gameplay.

No doubt Tekken 7 aims to make itself a relevant part of the eSports universe and Microsoft announced that Xbox Live Gold Members can pick up a Backwards Compatible version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 for free during E3. Not bad, right?
