Elijah Wood and Ubisoft unveil a mysterious new VR gaming experience called 'Transference'.
This year's E3 has been full of updates on several upcoming and highly anticipated games, and some new unexpected titles to boot. During Ubisoft's presentation, one new game designed for virtual reality caught a lot of attention, mostly due to its cryptic nature.
Apparently working alongside actor, Elijah Wood, the studio is utilizing the storytelling talents of SpectreVision to bring players an immersive VR experience entitled 'Transference'. Check out the trailer above.
It promises to be a totally immersive VR game that might leave you questioning your safety in the world you've been thrown into. There's no word on a story or what the game will ask of you, expect of course to reconsider your own reality. The game boasts a challenging puzzle-style experience:
Transference™ is a psychological thriller and the first game collaboration between SpectreVision and Ubisoft. Bridging the gap between movies and games, we invite you to lose yourself in the destructive tale of a man’s obsession as you explore his digitally recreated memories.
Experience the limits of techno-psychology and escape a maze-like puzzle concealing a corrupted truth. Get projected into the digital consciousness of troubled case subjects and maybe you will influence their fate.
Transference releases Spring 2018 on PSVR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, as well as PS4, XBox One, and PC!
