E3 2017: Madden 18’s new trailer showcases all new story mode titled Longshot

Following in the footsteps of the wildly successful FIFA 17, EA has decided to implement a story mode into one of the biggest video game franchises of all time. This year's entry of Madden will see a brand new story mode following a young athlete trying to make a name for himself in the NFL.

You'll go all the way from playing football as a small child, to the NFL draft, to playing with the big shots. The story seems to be very similar to FIFA 17 but with football. Hopefully, there will be noticable changes other than the sport being played but we'll have to see when the game releases this fall. You can see the brand new trailer below.

This will also be the first Madden game not available on last gen consoles meaning if you're a hardcore Madden fan but are stuck on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, you'll need to upgrade.

Madden 18 will release on August 25th, 2017 for Xbox One and PS4.
