E3 2017: Metroid Prime 4 confirmed for Nintendo Switch

Earlier this year, a rumor suggested that a number of games would be announced for the Nintendo Switch this summer, one of the games featured in the rumor was Metroid. The rumor was further suggested by a game analyst, who believed the series was due for a reemergence. 

Nintendo has officially confirmed that Metroid will be making a return on the Nintendo Switch. The game is currently in development and has no release date as of yet. All we can do is stare at the image above and below and cry until it's real.
