We got our first look at the new Fast & Fu… Need for Speed game at EA's press conference over the weekend. It looks like a really epic car game filled with explosive action and intense car chases and we can't wait to get our hands on it. Some people have wondered if the game could potentailly make its way to Nintendo Switch so they can bring the racing game on the go.
Need for Speed: Payback's executive producer Marcus Nilsson spoke on the matter stating its possible but they have no plans for it.
"I love the Switch; I absolutely adore it," he said. "Would that be a platform that Need for Speed: Payback could run on? I don't see why [not], but it's not something we're looking to at this very moment," he explained.
Maybe if FIFA 18 on Switch sells really well, EA may push Ghost Games to port Payback to the Switch but only time will tell. If it did launch, it's hard to say if it would be the exact same version. FIFA 18 on Switch will be missing modes like the story mode but will include fan favorites like Ultimate Team. If Payback was put on Switch, would it suffer from sacrifices too? After all, it is running on the Frostbite Engine on Xbox One, PS4, and PC which EA is not using for the Switch version of FIFA 18.
Need for Speed: Payback will release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 10th, 2017.
