During the Xbox 360 generation, a post-apocalyptic survival game set in Russia was released titled Metro 2033. It was met with critical acclaim and it spawned a sequel called Metro: Last Light that was also met with great reception.
A collection of both games was released on Xbox One and PS4 a couple years ago but the future of the series was uncertain after some behind the scenes struggles. Now, the series will return with Metro: Exodus which will see main protagonist Artyom return to the wasteland.
