E3 2017: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild reveals Expansion Pass content

During the Nintendo's E3 stream, some new content for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was revealed for both Nintendo Switch and Wii U. As you might have noticed playing the game, the main menu includes an option for "DLC," but what exactly that is has remained a mystery largely. Here's our first look at the two DLC packs for Breath of the Wild, which are titled The Master Trial and The Champions Ballad.

The Master Trial will transport Link to an all-new area, seemingly only done by using the Master Sword as a key, and will be undertaken without armor and weapons needing to be gathered for an added challenge. The pack will also unlock new armor, including a Korok Mask.

The Champions Ballad features Mipha, Urbosa, Daruk, and Revali, the Champions of Hyrule and will coincide with the release of Amiibo figurines. It's not entirely clear what this pack will entail, but Nintendo will surely provide more details closer to its launch during the Holiday 2017.
