E3 2017: Ubisoft CEO says they haven’t forgotten Splinter Cell

Almost every year at E3, Ubisoft reveals a new Tom Clancy game but this year and many expected a new Splinter Cell to be the new Tom Clancy game but there was nothing revealed! The big stinger at the end was Beyond Good and Evil 2 which is great but some fans are disappointed we haven't heard anything regarding Splinter Cell in four years.

Speaking with Geoff Keighley, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot talked about why we haven't heard anything about a new entry in the stealth series.

"All the Clancy games are taken care of, we have quite a lot on our plate. The Division continues to be played, Ghost Recon is also still extremely popular, all the Clancy games are really coming along. We are not forgetting Splinter Cell."

It sounds as if Ubisoft is just really busy and is letting Splinter Cell brew while they talk about other games that are coming much sooner. Hopefully, we'll hear something about Sam Fisher's next adventure at E3 2018!
