E3 2017: Ubisoft is selling a very limited $800 Assassin’s Creed Origins collector’s edition

After nearly a year of leaks, Assassin's Creed Origins was officially revealed at E3 on Sunday at Microsoft's press conference. It looks like Ubisoft really took their time with the new entry in the series and it'll change how Assassin's Creed is played and seen going forward. One thing Ubisoft hasn't changed is their absurd collector's editions for their games.

Assassin's Creed: Origins will have an $800 collector's edition which comes with a statue that's over two feet tall and some other trinkets you can read about below:

  • Highly detailed 28.7 inch (73cm) resin statue of Bayek, a protector of Egypt whose personal story will lead to the creation of the Assassin’s Brotherhood; and his eagle, Senu – By Ubicollectibles.
  • The Collector’s Certificate of Authenticity, numbered 1 to 999.
  • An exclusive replica of Bayek’s eagle skull amulet in resin.
  • Two exclusive Assassin’s Creed Origins Steelbooks™.
  • Four large lithographs signed by the Ubisoft Montreal studio artists.

Only 999 of this collector's edition, which is titled Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition, will be produced so they're very limited. If you genuinely want one, you can pre-order it from the Ubisoft Store where it's exclusively being sold. Ubisoft will actually send you the collector's edition goodies in July and the game itself will be delivered when it releases in October. You can view a picture of it below.

If you're a bit saner, Assassin's Creed Origins will have some cheaper editions of the game. You can get a Deluxe Edition for $69.99, a Gold Edition for $109.99, and a more traditional collector's edition for $119.99. You can view the contents of each edition below.

Deluxe Edition:

Some bonus DLC that gives you additional weapons and missions.

Gold Edition:

Steelbook Gold Edition includes all Deluxe add-on content, the season pass, and a collectible SteelBook case.

$119.99 Collector's Edition:

  • The Collector's Edition contains all the essentials to discover the mysteries of Ancient Egypt.
  • Includes a copy of the Deluxe Edition and bonus digital content. Customers will also receive:
  • 10.2" Bayek figurine standing on the Sekhmet Statue, the lioness goddess
  • Map, official game soundtrack, and art book, featuring artwork from Ubisoft Montreal artists
  • All packaged in a premium Egyptian Gods themed collectible box

Assassin's Creed Origins is out on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 27th, 2017.
