E3 2017: Xbox One X is coming this November; Here are all the details

Last year, Microsoft revealed the next iteration of the Xbox One, Project Scorpio. Advertised as the most powerful console ever built, the console comes packed with 6 teraflops, the ability to showcase games in 4K, and much more. For months, we've all been speculating on just how powerful it'll be, how much it'll cost, what it'll be called, and much more. Now, we finally know.

Today at Microsoft's press briefing, Microsoft blew the lid off all of the Project Scorpio secrets and gave us all of the juicy details. The console will be called Xbox One X and will cost $499.99 when it releases on November 7th.

The console boasts having 8 million pixels, 4k UHD Blu-ray playback, HDR, and faster load times. If you're concerned about not being able to take advantage of the Xbox One X's power because you're still using a 1080p TV, the console works without a 4K TV. Supersampling is used when playing on a 1080p TV, making games look better on a 1080p TV than any other console can.

Xbox One X also features the most advanced processor for any console ever made, liquid-cooled Vapor Chamber usually used exclusively for servers or super high-end PCs. It's also smaller than any other Xbox ever produced and yes, your Xbox One games and accessories will be compatible with Xbox One X. Xbox One X will truly be the most powerful console out there.

Xbox One X is coming on November 7th, 2017.
