E3 2018: EA debuts new look at Battlefield V; Battle Royale announced

Battlefield V was announced earlier this year to the surprise of no one! The return to EA’s FPS franchise will take all of us back to World War II with a much more refined gameplay experience.

Battlefield V will feature the ability to jump out windows and roll across the ground, more control over your movement when prone similar to Rainbow Six Siege, the ability to move AA turrets with vehicles, and so much more. It’s a much more immersive experience and will also give us all more customization options with uniforms, face paints, and more.

At the initial reveal, we didn’t see much gameplay but EA dropped an all-new trailer showing in-game footage. It’s still not raw gameplay but it’s game footage! You can take a look below.

EA also announced battle royale for Battlefield V coming after launch. They’re holding back on giving details but it’ll be the traditional battle royale experience reimagined for the gameplay of Battlefield V with destruction, vehicles, and much more. We’ll learn more about what it is later this year.

Battlefield V will release this October for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
