E3 2018: Nintendo details Super Smash Bros. Ultimate; Includes every fighter from the series

It’s been a year since Nintendo launched the Nintendo Switch and the one game everyone has been dying for is a new Super Smash Brothers and it’s finally happening and it looks to be the best one yet!

With the new Smash Brothers, titled Super Smash Bros. Ultimate,  Nintendo is bringing back every single fighter from the series including Ryu, Sonic, Cloud, and yes, Solid Snake with the popular Shadow Moses fighting stage! A ton of these fighters have had new tweaks and changes to how they fight, look, and more.

The Wii Fit Trainer now has a new face because sure, why not, Bowser can now grow larger than ever before with his Final Smash, the Inklings now have to refill their ink mid-match like in the real Splatoon game, and much more. Nintendo said there would be up to tens of thousands of changes and

Assist trophy characters like the Nintendog, Bomberman, and other surprise characters will jump in to give you a helping hand. All stages also have battlefield and omega forms now, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature a bunch of stages that are classic and new such as a stage based on the Great Plateau from Breath of the Wild.

All current Super Smash Bros. Amiibos will be compatible with the new title so you won’t have to worry about buying new ones if you’ve invested heavily into them already. Nintendo will even let you use ones other series Amiibos such as ones from Super Mario Odyssey.

Perhaps most importantly, they will be letting you use Gamecube controllers on the Nintendo Switch when you play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. You can view the full 25-minute presentation on the game at the top of the page.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will launch on Nintendo Switch on December 7th, 2018.
