Ubisoft just closed the curtains on their E3 Press Conference, where the French publishing giant showed a ton of games, known and brand-new. One of the former, Skull & Bones was already announced last E3 but today we got a new cinematic trailer and a lengthy gameplay trailer. Check out both below!
Skull & Bones is a pirate themed open-world action game, in which the player will become a pirate in control of a crew and a ship. You’ll be able to do various activities, like plundering, sinking enemy ships, fight AI and other human pirates, search for treasure and much more. All pirate adventures one would expect.
What makes Skull & Bones special besides the immense attention to detail and high visual fidelity befitting of Ubisoft, is a persistent shared world, an MMO of some sorts. Players will have the option to work together and bolster their chances to defeat tougher enemies. It will be left to them whether they turn on each other afterwards though, which should make for fresh and exciting experiences. You won’t be forced to bother with Co-Op or PvP as Skull & Bones will be playable solo with a campaign, which is a nice option to have.
Besides offering a story campaign, Co-Op and PvP multiplayer modes, Skull & Bones is set to personalize players’ experiences with extensive customization options. Weapons, cannons, ships and accessories. You will be able to choose your captain, recruit your crew and build deadly ships while building your own lethal fleet.
This all sounds very good and what we’ve seen from the gameplay videos, we can’t wait for 2019 when Skull & Bones is going to come out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
