With Electronic Arts' EA Access off to a "great start" and performing "extremely well" on Xbox One, the publisher/developer is now looking to expand its gaming service to other platforms. Announced today, Origin Access looks to offer "endless PC gaming" for just a small monthly fee, similar to Xbox One's EA Access program.
For just $4.99 a month, subscribers will have access to a growing collection of PC games offered through EA's Origin service. At launch, there are 15 titles available in the catalog (aka The Vault):
Like EA Access, the entire catalog of games offered for the small monthly price will continue to grow. In addition to the games, Origin Access members will receive 10% on Origin purchases and early access to new EA games before they're released.
Origin Access is available right now. You can join here.
Unfortunately, one platform this sort of all-access program won't be coming to is PlayStation, as a Sony representative previously said the service "does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect." $4.99 for all these games? Not so sure I agree with Sony on this one.
