EA Sports is working on a fix for the current freezing issues that have plagued Madden NFL 25. Numerous users have voiced their problems on the official forums, and EA has finally issued a formal response.
"We are aware that some players are experiencing intermittent freezing issues while playing Madden NFL 25," EA wrote. "Our team is investigating the cause and is working on a resolution so that we can get everyone back into the game. Thank you for your patience, and for supporting EA SPORTS!"
It seems the majority of issues seem to be with the PS3 version of the game, though we have personally experienced freezing issues on the Xbox 360 version as well. Despite the occasional freezing, Madden NFL 25 has actually been well received. It scored an 8/10 here on GameZone with reviewer Lance Liebl say it "shows flashes of brilliance, but Romos it up in the fourth quarter." I'm not entirely sure what that means given the fact that Tony Romo has some of the best 4th quarter stats among quarterbacks in the NFL.
