EA confirms Need for Speed: Most Wanted for Wii U

EA has finally confirmed a Wii U version of Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Although Nintendo has already listed the racing title in its 2013 Wii U line-up, EA was silent on the subject until now.

An EA representative told Polygon, “We are very excited to deliver Need for Speed: Most Wanted on more platforms and to more gamers."

“Starting October 30, Most Wanted will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita, Android and iOS. Then in 2013, Nintendo fans will be able to experience what it means to be Most Wanted amongst their friends on the Wii U.”

Need for Speed: Most Wanted looks to offer a totally open-world racing experience void of individual tracks and annoying game menus. It's likely that when playing the game on Wii U, you'll need to sign into an Origin account, as it is required to have one when playing EA games online.
