Earlier this week EA revealed that they would be announcing the cover athlete and show the first trailer for their upcoming football game, Madden NFL 17. The announcement was due to come at 6PM ET tonight, via ESPN SportsCenter.
A keen eyed netizen noticed a listing on Microsoft’s Xbox Store for Madden NFL 17. The listing wasn't simply words, but also a cover athlete: Rob Gronkowski. Along with image of Gronkowski spiking a football (as seen below) details on the editions of the game were listed.

EA Sports saw the tweet of the Xbox listing (which no longer exists) and replied:
@hellbolt That's not the cover though, Scott! You'll see tonight.

Yes, they denied the cover art, however, the details around the game editions have not been confirmed or revealed. The game was described to featured a new focus on Franchise Mode, more balanced gameplay and a beefed up defensive AI system.
The Xbox listing for Madden 17 revealed that the game would come in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe.
According to the listing, pre-orders for the Standard Edition will come with a month-long trial for EA Access, as well as bonus content: nine Madden NFL Ranked Tickets and up to seven Madden NFL Ultimate Team Pro Packs. The Deluxe Edition includes the same items, as well as 30 Madden NFL Ranked Tickets and 10 Madden NFL Ultimate Team All Pro Packs. The Super Deluxe includes all of the above and Ultimate Team All Pro Packs.
