EA Financials Reveal Need for Speed: Shift 2 and Crysis 2 Delay

EA recently released their financial results for the first quarter of their 2011 fiscal year, ended June 30, 2010.

Listed as a Q4 FY2011 release is Need for Speed: Shift 2, which means the game should release sometime in early 2011. Though there are no other details on the game, being that the list is compiled so that investors know what is coming in the near future.

Also worth noting is that Crysis 2, which at the time of this writing is a Holiday 2010 release according to EA’s website, is listed for release the same quarter as NFS:Shift 2, meaning that the game has likely been delayed until 2011.

On the bright side, Fight Night Champion seems to be on schedule, as are Dead Space 2 and Dragon Age 2. It’s the quarter of twos for EA.
