EA opens NHL 13 cover vote

In what's becoming a ritual for all EA sports games, the company has begun the voting process for the NHL 13 Cover.

Beginning today, fans can vote for their favorite player from each NHL team to advance one round closer to becoming the cover athlete for NHL 13.  Voting for the initial round lasts until April 11th.

Voting is unlimited and for every vote you cast, you will earn one entry into the Cover Vote Sweepstakes for a chance to win a VIP trip to the 2012 NHL Awards (up to 10 entries per day).

To be completely honest, I know nothing about hockey, so I won't even attempt to predict the winners with this one.  If you would like to see the eligible athletes, check out EA's NHL 13 Cover Vote hub page.

Meanwhile, voting on the Madden NFL 13 continues as earlier this week the brackets narrowed to the final 16 athletes.  Round two voting will run until April 4th so if you'd like to cast your vote for the Madden NFL 13 cover visit the official ESPN page.
