EA Origin users logged 6.1 billion minutes in 2013

Gamers running EA's Origin service logged 1.3 billion game sessions and 6.1 billion minutes of playtime in 2013, according to a year-end infographic.

Origin is Electronic Arts' digital-distribution service for PC, Mac, and mobile. It competes with similar digital services and clients like Valve's Steam, which just hit 75 million active users.

EA didn't mention how many current active users Origin has but did reveal other stats, like the number of log-ins in 2013, which exceeded 726 million. However, a report from July mentioned that Origin has over 50 million registered users, 22 million of those on mobile.
