EA Play 2017 tickets on sale next month; Star Wars Battlefront 2, Need for Speed and more to be playable

At the beginning of 2017, EA announced that they would once again be skipping out on E3 in favor of their own EA Play event. EA Play is set to take place at the Hollywood Palladium on Saturday, June 10th to Monday, June 12th. These dates put them in direct competition with Bethesda's E3 conference on June 11th and Microsoft's conference, which is also on June 11th.

While Microsoft is boasting that they will be bringing their biggest game lineup since 2016, EA is promising their own tricks. During the public friendly event, EA Play will feature a number of new games that gamers can get their hands on.

Attendees will be able to play Star Wars Battlefront 2, Need for Speed, Madden NFL 18, FIFA 18, and NBA LIVE 18. In addition to all that, there will also be unannounced games for fans to get their hands on.

“Beyond the hands-on experience in Hollywood, we have an extensive content program for our players joining us online,” EA said in a blog post. “Throughout the three-day event we will be providing you with detailed gameplay deep dives, competitive events and exclusive interviews with the development teams. So whether you’re experiencing EA Play in-person or watching online, be sure to join us starting June 10.”

Tickets for EA Play will be on sale for the public starting April 20th at 9:00 AM PST.
