EA Play will be bundled into Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost

Value overdrive

The best value in gaming is getting even better with EA Play joining Xbox Game Pass. Users on consoles who are subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Games Pass for PC members will get access to EA Play at no additional cost starting this holiday. Watch the announcement trailer for this sweet new partnership here!

Xbox Game Pass is already one of the best reasons to play on Xbox and pretty much a must for console players on Microsoft’s consoles. Day 1 access to all Xbox Game Studios releases alongside select third-party titles plus a treasure trove of over 100 games made the gaming subscription service an instant classic.

With the advent of other companies following this trend, there were fears that too many services would vie for the attention of gamers however muddling the waters. But today we are greeted with the exact opposite. Electronic Arts and Microsoft have teamed up to bring the best of both worlds in one outstanding package.

EA Play is going to be included for every Xbox Game Pass Ultimate & Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription at no extra fee. While it’s not the EA Play Pro variant that gives access to all of EA’s new games at launch, it still offers plenty of value with a large instant library that includes many great games from the publishers.

And it bears repeating, this is all for free! This deal goes into effect this holiday presumably coinciding with the launch of the Xbox Series X & S which leaves no doubt that next-gen is going to be even better for value-oriented gamers.

Microsoft just recently bolstered the feature list of Xbox Game Pass with the brilliant introduction of cloud gaming, again for free. The inclusion of EA Play all but cements the service as a must-have for Xbox owners.
