EA promises more free maps and Star Cards for Star Wars Battlefront

We already know Star Wars Battlefront's first batch of DLC — the Battle of Jakku — will be free for all players. With it will come a brand new map on the new desert planet, as well as the new "Turning Point" game mode. But that's not all EA has planned in terms of free content for players.

Although Star Wars Battlefront will have a Season Pass, which is essentially mandatory if you want the full Battlefront experience, EA also plans to bolster its post-launch support with additional free content as well. This will include more Star Cards and even new maps, according to the publisher.

"We will be adding more of what you love about the game, like new maps and Star Cards, for free in the coming months, in addition to all of the content we have coming with the Season Pass," EA said.

Speaking of the $49.99 Season Pass, we know it will include four pieces of DLC made up 4 additional heroes and villains, 16 additional multiplayer maps, 4 new game modes, and new pieces of galactic tech. Unfortunately, the exact details are still a mystery.
