The closed alpha for EA’s newest entry in the hugely popular multiplayer FPS is going to start tomorrow and the publisher released a detailed post on the game’s website. You’ll be able to learn when the Battlefield V Alpha starts, on which platforms it will take place and how to join it. Check the blog post out here.
As implied by its name, the closed alpha for Battlefield V will not be open for everyone. Instead, a select group of players will be chosen by the publisher and get exclusive invites for the event. Gamers on console won’t need to wait for those to arrive as the alpha will be only on PC. Furthermore, only two big regions are planned for the alpha, with Europe and North America. You can see in the blog post if your country is eligible.
Invites will go out starting today and the Alpha will begin tomorrow, June 28th, and will run for a “limited time” according to EA. Players lucky enough to receive invites will be able to play Conquest mode or the Grand Operation Fall of Norway on the Arctic Fjord map. In the latter, you’ll be able to experience two of its in-game “days” and play two of the modes that the Grand Operation strings together: Airborne and Breakthrough. Check out this great post to learn more about Grand Operations and other modes in Battlefield V.
As is the norm for PC releases, alpha, beta or final, the publisher also shared the system requirements. They are as follows:

Don’t feel too sad, in case you don’t get an invite for the closed alpha however as Battlefield V will on October 19th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
